Installation Solutions
We provide solutions, you keep full control of the project. Our consultation service will provide you, the customer, with all the relevant information and help to assess your requirements.

Salcco has its own qualified and experienced in-house cabling design and installation teams who provide a quality installation service to relevant standards and specifications.

Our experience covers a wide range of installations including fire alarms, display lighting, power supplies, door entry, cable management, nurse call, emergency lighting, 3 phase, CCTV and heating systems.
No two installations are the same and test procedures need to be planned and agreed, for each installation on its own merits. All testing is carried out to IEE wiring regulations.

All installed cables, outlets and patch panels will be tested for continuity, polarity, short circuits and termination to specifications ensuring a finished installation is handed over in a working 'ready to use' condition.

Testing can also be carried out on existing installations to identify possible problems or just for assurance the network is working efficiently.

We also provide EFI (electrical frequency interference) testing to ensure conformity to legislation.
Regular planned maintenance will protect your investment and contribute to safety in the work place.

Obsolete, damaged or tangled cables can lead to mechanical or safety problems or possible failure. It makes sense, therefore, to ensure the installation is maintained on a regular basis.

There are maintenance contracts to suit all installations including fluorescent tube replacement, fire alarm checks and emergency lighting checks.
Following each completed installation at Salcco we provide project documentation that includes outlet location drawings, cabinet layouts, outlet and patch panel numbering identification drawings.

The amount of detail varies from project to project as special requirements are frequently requested. Documentation allows future moves or problems to be traced quickly and efficiently.

Existing installations can be traced and documented. The majority of existing installations have been added to over a number of years and the documentation, if any, is inadequate.
Project and Site Management
Project management is an integral part of any project. Each project needs to be controlled from initial consultation through to handover.

Projects need control to ensure the smooth transfer of information to installation procedures. There is a direct link between all Salcco departments and the customer.

Site management controls each project from site level ensuring site meetings and liaison between on-site contractors and the customers staff are transferred to installation.

A smooth trouble free installation relies on good project and site management techniques.
